I'm Brittany Smith, Owner of Inspired Help and the lead Wedding Coordinator. I wanted to share a little information about myself and why I became a coordinator.  So, I'm an ENFP (Myers Briggs Personality type) and I've found I am most compatible with Type A clients who may or may not be introverted! But I absolutely love my fellow extroverted Type B's as well! And the black and white photo was me on my wedding day...

Yes, I was in fact the "bride under the table". I was a classic DIY bride - "Do it yourself" in every sense of the word. I was my own planner, decorator, project manager, wedding dress designer, and coordinator. So, when things went south with the venue the night before our wedding during set-up, and when the venue decided to kick us out far before we could even make a dent in our decorating, I had to alter my plans of having an easy wedding morning with my bridesmaids.  Instead, I found myself still decorating and finishing things up only a few hours before I was getting married. Oh, did I mention they would only give us 4 hours to complete it all before our ceremony? This is why I became a coordinator. This is why my heart is to serve brides. Because I never want YOU to be the bride under the table. I want you to thoroughly enjoy your day. I want you to make memories with your bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Most of all, I want you to be able to celebrate your day with your lovely new hubby, both being able to focus solely on getting married. That's my goal for every bride, groom, wedding party, and family!

If you would have asked me 5 years ago if I would be working in the wedding and events industry – I would have laughed. For some reason, unbeknownst to me, Brittany asked me to be a part of her team. I said yes, and 3 years later, I’m neck deep in planning and coordinating for my own brides. My life revolves around weddings now, and it’s all thanks to Brittany seeing a passion in me that I didn’t know existed.

This is your day, and I want you to relax and enjoy it – and drink that mimosa! I want to be the one running around, triple checking every perfectly crafted detail you selected, so that you can have the wedding day you always dreamt of.
