Job Summary
Day of Event Assistants plays a key role in supporting event/client needs and the Lead Coordinator on event day! This position offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills. We’d love to see this role grow into a Day of Event Manager position.
Expectations as a Day of Event Assistant
Travel to venues in and around the Greater Nashville Area
We primarily frequent Nashville venues, but sometimes venture to Spring Hill, Columbia, Lebanon, Murfreesboro and beyond!
Assist with set-up and/or breakdown on event day
Act as POC for vendors as directed by the Lead Coordinator on event day
Assist with management of the day of timeline, vendor needs, day of hiccups, music and emcee cues, and most importantly client needs
Willingness to run occasional day of errands
Great people skills
Requirements of a Day of Event Assistant
Must be 18 years of age
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Detail-oriented
5 steps ahead mantality
Go-with-the-flow attitude
Must be able to commit to at least 3 weddings per year (dates confirmed in advance)
Must be able to lift 20 pounds
Reliable transportation
Rate | $25/hour + meals on event day
